Yes, by removing the engine, which is a structural part of the chassis, the latter was weakened. We studied technical solutions to reinforce the frame, without increasing its weight, so that it could pass the fatigue tests required by the UNI EN 15194:2018 standard. These tests also covered all the new rear axle components that couple the rear fork of the frame to the electric motor. The front fork, however, has not been modified.
